VP Report (Elizabeth Fulakis)- We had a great National Night Out event in August. Hundreds of people were there, and the community was able to interact with the Columbus Police.
NCC Meeting (Elizabeth Fulakis)– The public comment period is now open for Zone In Phase 2. Our Community Liaison, Devin Deal, spoke at this month’s meeting, and anyone from our community can attend as a representative. Let Elizabeth know if you would like to join her at a future meeting. 500K requests were raised with 311 last year. NCC Dev Meeting- There were 3 cases heard. One was in our area. It was for St. Josephine Bakhita Parish on Sharon Woods and Alpine, and they want to install a digital sign. It was approved by the committee. NCC_Development_Agenda_20260826
Secretary Report (Laura Bastin)– Notes for this meeting will be posted on our website. We have moved our payment platform from Square to Zeffy, and we will send information about this.
Treasurer Report (Karen Osmond): You can get the latest report by reaching out to [email protected] Karen is looking for someone to replace her as the Treasurer.
Beautification (Penny Hackbarth): Penny is looking for volunteers to help keep the Sharon Woods/161 Islands taken care of. The next clean-up is scheduled for Saturday 9/12 starting at 9am. It would be ideal if someone could bring a lawnmower and a trimmer.
New Business:
Elizabeth is proposing Lisa Sokol as a New Trustee. The Board will review the process for this before our next meeting.
