Helping Others

By now you may have heard that our association’s President, John Kirkpatrick, suffered a stroke in July and has since been in rehabilitation. I’m pleased to share that John’s recovery has shown steady progress. Your thoughts and prayers for his recovery and for his family are very appreciated!

Our community is diverse in age, working status, ethnicity, and family makeup. In order to maintain a high quality of life for everyone in Sharon Woods, we invite you to consider how you might be able to help others. There are many opportunities available now or in the near future, none of which require more than 2–3 hours of volunteer time per month. You may also develop lifelong friendships as a result…as I can personally attest! All opportunities are led by someone who can help get you started. No matter your background, we can use your help.

Below are just some of our current and future opportunities for service. If you have interest or experience in one or two of these areas, would you consider pitching in?

  • Welcoming Committee
  • Social Media Committee
  • Online Payment Implementation Committee
  • Beautification & Maintenance of Landscaping at Entrances
