From The Columbus Dispatch:

The city of Columbus is moving forward this year with three major roadwork projects in Northland. Construction is expected to begin in the spring on a state Route 161 project at Maple Canyon Avenue.

The project includes creating roundabouts on Maple Canyon several blocks north and south of Route 161.

Also, pedestrian and bike facilities will be added, new traffic signals installed, pavement widened and resurfaced and raised medians on Maple Canyon. The construction cost of $3.6 million is funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Also scheduled for spring are Route 161-Karl Road intersection improvements, which add a mini roundabout and median along the northern approach of the intersection and installation of pedestrian facilities along the roadway.
