The Northland Independence Day Parade is taking place Monday, July 4, at 11:00 AM, and the Sharon Woods Civic Association is seeking volunteers! Help us continue our 25-year tradition of helping make this parade a true celebration of our great nation.

Our association will be hosting a float in the parade, and we’re seeking individuals from the community to help pass out American flags to parade goers. 20 volunteers are needed for this opportunity, so please consider inviting your neighbors, friends, and/or family to join the fun. Contact Roger Heckel (740-971-7495) if you are willing to volunteer or if you have any questions.

On the day of the parade, volunteers should park near the Huntington Bank at Karl and Morse Roads (4660 Karl Road) between 10:15–10:30 AM. We will gather just north of the bank’s drive-through. Simply find the float with the Ohio bicentennial bell and you’ll see our group!
