Location: Church of the Good Shepherd, Sharon Woods Blvd.

Opening: Meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance

CLO– Rodney Mayberry  [email protected]. They are going to conduct a 2-week parking blitz in July along 161 to help get rid of semis in the area.

Recent crime stats are: 1 Pct Crime Stats

President Report (Thomas Page)- Sustainable Columbus has an open comment period right now. https://www.columbus.gov/Government/Mayors-Office/Sustainable-Columbus

Zone In has officially passed, and now they must write the zone code.

Thomas would like to open the opportunity to our neighborhood to write articles that we will post on the website. We are looking for additional authors to provide important and helpful content to our neighbors.

VP Report (Elizabeth Fulakis)- The Northgate Intermediate School has been reserved for NNO. She has reached out to Family Dollar, Dollar Tree and Starbucks coffee to provide donations for NNO. She has not heard back from them yet.

NCC Meeting (Elizabeth Fulakis)– The meeting is next week.

NCC Dev Meeting- There were a few cases heard but they didn’t impact our area. NCC_Development_Agenda_20260624 (1)

Secretary Report (Laura Bastin)– Notes for this meeting will be posted on our website. We have moved our payment platform from Square to Zeffy, and we will send information about this.

Treasurer Report (Karen Osmond): You can get the latest report by reaching out to [email protected] Karen is looking for someone to replace her as the Treasurer.

Beautification (Penny Hackbarth): The group is getting together again 9am on 7/11 at the 161 and Sharon Woods Islands. We are looking for volunteers to help mow the islands at 161 and Sharon Woods. These will be torn out when they complete the roundabout, so we are not looking for much upkeep besides mowing.

Welcoming Committee (Penny Hackbarth): We will add copies of the Gatepost door hangers.

Upcoming Events:

NNO– Our event is on Tuesday 8/4 this year at Northgate Intermediate School.

SWCA Meeting 9/3 7PM at the Church of Good Shepherd

Garage Sale Labor Day Weekend– email [email protected] if you would like to participate.

Call to Action:

We are still looking for more volunteers from our community to take on open board member/committee roles. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in learning more. The roles that are currently open are: Advertising, Social Media, Gatepost/website content creation, helping with the Beautification of our neighborhood
