How it works:
-

Once registered, you will receive a NUMBER indicating how many boxes of food you will receive based on family size. ***

1-3 family members = 1 box

4-6 family members = 2 boxes
-
7+ family members = 3 boxes

Drive to the back of the building and a volunteer will take your NUMBER and load the appropriate number of boxes into your vehicle. You do not need to exit your vehicle. THANK YOU for allowing us to serve the community.
*** First come, first serve.

Northland Community Fourth of July Parade
Northland Community Fourth of July Parade
July 4, 2026 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The Northland Community Fourth of July Parade, started in 1962, is the only traditional parade on the 4th of July in Columbus, Ohio!
Learn More: https://northlandparade.org/
This parade is a completely volunteer effort which requires hundreds of hours of dedicated work to pull together this annual event. We ask our commercial and political partners to pay a fee each year for the parade which helps support it. The funds pay for the permit, police, insurance, trash pick-up, crowd control, banners, signs, float awards, and the wonderful grants we are able to give to our High School programs. These funds are raised entirely by the volunteers asking for donations. This year we have added an opportunity on the entry form for you to donate to help the parade as well. We ask that you consider donating if you don’t pay a fee and if you do, if you could add an additional donation, that would be very much appreciated.
Finally, if you know of anyone who would be interested in volunteering for the 4th of July Parade — before or during the parade – please have them email [email protected]. We have plenty of positions for anyone who wants to volunteer and many hands make light work!

Neighborhood Clean-Up on 161
Neighborhood Clean-Up on 161
July 11, 2026 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Jiffy Lube Oil Change, 1800 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43229, USA
Please join us to pick up trash and litter along 161 and make our community look inviting and clean! Supplies will be provided, including safety vests, trash grabbers, and garbage bags. If you need gloves, please bring your own.
Meet at the volunteer car (Red Kia or White Explorer) in the parking lot behind the Jiffy Lube. (Look for yellow safety vests!)
Your group will be assigned to a section along the service road. You do NOT need to bring back your full trash bags. You may leave these near the intersection corner for pickup later by our corporate partner, The Hadler Corporation.
All dates are weather dependent. Even if it’s raining, the coordinator will wait for the first 30-45 minutes, in hopes the rain stops. After that, if no volunteers arrive, the event will close.
